Photo showing both the original (front) Confederate headstone and then newer one (rear) of John T. Nix at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick County, Maryland. John was my fourth great grandfather. Both he & his brother, Clayton Nix died in the same battle. Clayton was also my fourth great grandfather. His burial location has not been located.

Antietam? Possibly an "unknown" died on battlefield? The other died as a POW?
