Edward Acree was the son of John Acree & his wife, Patience. Edward was born and spent his entire life in the area of Bertie County, North Carolina. There is much speculation on the name of his wife, Sarah but no one has produced any solid proof as to what her maiden name is. So in my files she remains just Sarah.
Edward and Sarah were the parents of 7 children, John, Thomas, William, Abner, Edward, Elizabeth & Martha Acree. Edward is the seventh great grandfather of Mr. Brown Eyes.
