Jeremiah Thomas Ansley Obituary (1922)

After a continued illness for over two years, the death of Mr. Jerry T. Ansley occurred at his home in McDuffie County July 22nd.  Funeral services were held the following day at Whiteoak Church of which he had been a consistant member for a number of years.  He was the son of the late Elim & Rachel Ansley and was 64 years of age.  In his departure we have lost a kind & loving husband, father and uncle and an honest upright citizen.  He leaves his wife, Mrs. Rebecca Ansley and seven children, Mrs.C. B. Pearson, Messrs. Enos, Seaborn, Watson and Earl Ansley and Mrs. Theodore Ruddock of this county and Mr. E.F.
