Obituary Alma E, Ott (1985)
Avilla - Alma E. Ott, 77, died at 7 am Wednesday inher home. Surviving are her husband, Harley, three sons, including Harold, of Fort Wayne, three daughters, one sister and 15 grandchildren. Services at 11 am Friday in Emmanuel Lutheran Church, with calling one hour before services. Calling also from 2 to 9 pm today in Brazzell Funeral Home, Avilla. Memorials to the church.

Born Alma E. Weimer, 15 MAR 1908, married 06 SEP 1930, Avilla, Noble County, Indiana to Harley Ott, they were parents of 7 children.

Alma Ott
Avilla - Alma E. Ott, 77, of Route 2, Avilla, died unexpectedly at 7 am Wednesday at her residence.
She was born March 15, 1908 in Noble County, the duaghter of William and Elizabeth (Bauman) Weimer. On Sept. 6, 1930 in Avilla, she married Harley Ott, who survives.
Mrs. Ott, a housewife, was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Avilla, where she taught Sunday School and was a member of the Ladies Aid. She was also a member of the Farm Bureau.
Surviving with her husband are three daughters, Mrs. Ray (Jean) Leffel and Mrs. John (Ruth Ann) Seidel, both of Kendallville; and June Ott at home; three sons, Harold Ott of Fort Wayne; and Larry and Paul Ott, both of Avilla; a sister, Mildred Schoonard of Battle Creek, Mich.; 15 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
A son, Lee, preceded her in death in 1978 as did a brother, Howard Weimer.
Services will be at 11 am Friday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Dean Bearman officiating. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery, Avilla.
Visitation will be today from 2-9 pm at the Brazzell Funeral Home, Avilla, and one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.
Memorials may be made to the church.
