Mrs. Harriett Ott
Mrs. Harriett Ott, 80, died Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Nellie Getz, 2115 Meridian Street. Death was attributed to cardiorenal disease. Mrs. Ott was born in Elkhart County and had been a resident of Fort Wayne since 1903. Her husband, George W. Ott, died in March, 1930.
Surviving are five sons, Lawrence and Jerry of Eel River Township, Claude with the U.S. Army in Panama, Nelson of Michigan and Roscoe of Fort Wayne; three daughters, Mrs, Mont Arnold of Eel River Township, Mrs. Orpha Robinson of Zanesville and Mrs. Getz; 33 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren; a brother, Oliver Eyer of Middlebury, and a sister, Mrs, Myrtle Kehr of Goshen.
The body, taken to the Sonday funeral home at Churubusco, will be returned this afternoon to the Getz residence. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the residence and 2 o'clock at the Merriam Christian Chapel. Burial will be in the chapel cemetery.
