Wedding Wednesday - Mark 58th Wedding Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Thacher, of Auburn, celebrated their fifty-eighth wedding anniversary Monday evening with a family dinner at the Petite Cafe in Auburn.   They were married September 25, 1881 in Branch County, Mich., and have been residents of Auburn for 26 years.   Mr. Thatcher is 83 and his wife 78.  They have one son, Charles Thatcher of Auburn; one daughter, Mrs. Pansy Martin of Quincy, Mich.; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.   **Fort Wayne(Indiana)Journal-Gazette, 27 SEP 1939
