Shown above a Confederate "Notice of Appointment" for F.M. Nix.
As I work my different lines, at this point, all Confederate, I try to identify all the ones wearing the surnames that I am working on. Currently the two biggest that I am working on are Ansley & Nix. Both strong Georgia Confederate lines. As of this writing I can not identify the parents or wife of F.M. Nix.
Perhaps you know who he is, if so could you drop me a line or leave a comment please?
I would love to hear from anyone research either of those names!
