Peoples, Henry, born in Ohio Aug. 21, 1840, died in Elkhart, Ind., Jan. 28, 1918, aged 77 years, 5 months and 7 days. He was united in marriage to Susan Boomershine Feb. 3, 1862. To this union were born two sons and three daughters, of whom one son and three daughters remain, together with seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters. The deceased united with the Church of the Brethren at the time of the Civil War. Later he renewed his covenant with the Lord, and died singing and praying.
