Tombstone Tuesday

William C. Barkalow, was the son of James Tapscott Barkalow and his wife, Lydia Corwin.  William was born 9 Oct 1817 and died 5 Dec 1872 in Franklin Township, Warren County, Ohio.  He is buried in the old Barkalow Cemetery, Warren County, Ohio with his wife, Mary Ann Vorhis (1825-1891), with whom he had eight children - Lydia Ann, James K., Albert V., George B. Amnon, Catherine, Margaret and one unnamed infant. 

William & Mary Ann were married 9 Jan 1845 in Warren County, Ohio.
