This indenture made and entered into 14th day of November 1884 between Isreal Johnson Jr. and Bengmin Dowdy both of the county aforesaid witnesses that the said Isreal Johnson Jr. for and in consideration of the sum of $50 the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged dose hereby sell and convey unto
the said Bengmin Dowdy his heirs and assines a certain tract or lot of land situated in the county aforesaid to wit. Lot of land number two hundred in the eleventh district of said county containing two hundred two and one half acres moor or less to gather with all the rights and priviledges thereunto belonging in fee simple and the said Isreal Johnson Jr. his heir executors and administrator the title to the premisis aforesaid will forever warrant and defend to the said Bengamin Dowdy his heirs assigns against the lawful claims of all other pesons. In witness where of the said Isreal Johnson Jr. has hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year aforesaid.

State of Georgia, Dooley County; This indenture made and entered into this the 14th day of December Eighteen hundred and Eighty four between Israel Johnson & Israel Johnson both of the County and State aforesaid Witnesseth that the said Israel Johnson for and in consideration of the natural love
and affection he has for his son said Israel Johnson hereby gives grants and conveys to the said Israel Johnson his heirs and assigns one hundred acres of land morr or less being all that part of lot of land number Two hundred and sixteen lying and being in the Eleventh Dist of said County it being all that part of the North half of said lot that lies West of the lime sink Branch together with all the rights and privileges thereunto belonging forever in fee Simple. In witness whereof the said Isrel Johnson has herewith set his hand and seal the day and year above written.

6. Land Indenture: 9 Jan 1885, Dooly (Later Crisp) County, Georgia. (9)
State of Georgia, Dooly County; This indenture made and entered into this the 9th day of Jany 1885 between Israel Johnson and his son Israel Johnson both of the County and State aforesaid, Witnesseth that the said Israel Johnson for and in consideration of the natural love and affection he has for his son said Israel Johnson hereby gives grants and conveys unto the said Israel Johnson his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land lying in the eleventh Dist of said County Known by the number (217) Two hundred and seventeen containing Two hundred two and a half acres more or less together with all the nights and privileges thereunto belonging for ever in Fee Simple. In witness whereof the said Israel Johnson has hereunto set his hand and seal the day & year above written.

7. Land Indenture: 4 Mar 1887, Dooly (Later Crisp) County, Georgia. (10)
State of Georgia, Dooly County; Know all men by these presents. That in consideration of Five dollars to me in hand paid and in further consideration of the benefits and advantages to access to me from the constriction of the Rail road hereafter named, I, Israel Johnson do hereby grant, bargain, sell and convey with the Americus Preston & Lumkin Railroad Company, the right of way which to construct and equip a Rail road through any land owned by me in the County of Dooly, the land hereby deeded and conveyed for such purpose shall exceed 100 feet on each side of the Cental of said Rail road and shall vest in said Rail road Company only for Rail road purposes. The Company or lessee accepting franchise under this conveyance shall be bound to construct and Keep in order all stock gaps which may be necessary to protect the property of Contiguous real estate useness. To have and hold said strip of land and all and singular tho premises and appurtenances thereunto belonging unto said Corporation, their successors and assigns forever, this 4th Day of March 1887.

Georgia Dooly County; For and in Consideration of Three Hundred Thirty Dollars to me in hand paid by J. J. Willeford of Sumter County of the aforesaid State, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, I, Israel
Johnson of said County and State above mentioned, do hereby give, grant bargain, sell alien and convey, unto the said J. J. Willeford his heirs and assigns the following described property. All of Lot of Land Number (217) Two Hundred and Seventeen in the (11) Eleventh District of Dooly County Georgia and containing (202 1/2) Two Hundred Two and one half acres more or less. Together with all the priveleges and appurtenances that in any wise belonging in Fee Simple. And the said Israel Johnson will, and his heirs,
executors, and administrators, shall, the ___ property to the said J.J. Willeford his heirs, executors, and administrators, forever warrant and defend against the lawful demands of all persons whatsoever. In testimony whereof the said Israel Johnson has here set his hand and seal, this (21) Twenty first day of April 1887.

9. Land Indenture: 10 Nov 1887, Dooly (Later Crisp) County, Georgia. (12)
State of Georgia, Dooly County. For and in consideration of one hundred and fifty dollars to me in hand paid by the Rochelle Land & Lumber company of County and State, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, I, Isreal Johnson, of said County and State above mentioned, do hereby give grant, bargain, sell, alien and convey unto the said Rochelle Land and Lumber Comapny, his heirs and assignees the following described property. All of a certain parcel on track of land lying and being in the North east corner of Lot of land number 216. Two hundred and sicteen except right of way of the A.P. & L Railroad. Beginning at the north east Corner of said lot and running due south along the land line between lot 216 & lot number (233) two hundred thirty three to run of limesink branch thence up said branch in a south westerly direction to line marked out and agreed upon by my sister Francis Conner and James Conner and
myself. Thence along said made line in a westarly direction to run of Buck Branch. TH_____ down said branch to la______d line between said lot 216 and lot (217) two hundred Seventeen, this along said line to point of beginning said tract or parcel of land lying and being the eleventh District of said County and said to contain (25) twenty five acres more or less. The interlining avoce the words th_____ along said line was done before signing.
Together with all the priviliges and apprentices hereunto in anywise belonging in fee simple. And the said Isreal Johnson will and his heirs executors and adminstrators shall the said property to the said Rochelle Land & Lumber Company, his heirs, executors and administrators forever warrant and defend against the lawful demand of all persons whatsoever. In testimony whereof the said Isreal Johnson for hereto set his hand and seal, this 10th day of November 1887.

State of Georgia, Dooly County; This indenture made the 2nd day of December in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and eighty seven between Sophia Josey of the County of Dooly and State of Georgia of the first part and Israel Johnson of the County of Dooly and State of Georgia of the second
part Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of One hundred and twenty two dollars in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold alined conveyed confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell alien convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns all the following described property to wit: One hundred and fifty acres of land lying and being in the Eleventh (11) District of Dooly County Known and distinguished as the location portion of lot of land no Two hundred and thirty (230) containing 150 acres to have and to hold the said above granted and described property with all and singular the rights members and appurtances thereunto appertaining to the only proper use benefit and behalf of the said party of the second part heirs executors administrators and assigns in fee simple, and the said party of the first part the said bargained property above described unto the said party of the second part his heirs executors administrators and assigns against the said party of the first part her heirs executors and administrators and against all and every other person or persons shall and will and does hereby warrant and forever defend by virtue of these presents. Pioneer Crisp Citizen Passes
 Isreal Johnson, 82, pioneer citizen of this community died at his home near Cordele, Saturday. He was born and raised in this section and was a retired farmer.
Mr. Johnson was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.
He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Alice Dean, Winter Garden, Fla., Mrs. Margaret Ansley, Ochno____, Miss Clara Johnson and Miss Mae Johnson, both of Cordele; and three sons, I. Johnson Jr., L. B and David Johnson all of Cordele.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at four o'clock from the graveside in Williford cemetery, coducted by Rev. A. B. Hosea.
