Tombstone Tuesday - Elizabeth Mahaffey Hurst
Thomas Hurst(1830-1904)& his wife, Elizabeth Mahaffey(1835-1914) Hurst are buried in Wren Cemetery, Rockcastle County, Kentucky. As you can see from the top photo, the stones are pretty much illegible. The second photo shows a very close up view of Elizabeth's stone, which is in fact in better shape than that of Thomas. The third photo shows Elizabeth's stone from a distance.
