US Congressman. Elected to represent Indiana's 10th District in the United States House of Representatives, serving from 1847 to 1849. Also served as a Member of the Indiana State House of Representatives from 1834 to 1836, and 1836 to 1837, Candidate for Presidential Elector from Indiana 1836, and Member of the Indiana State Senate from 1844 to 1847.
