Tombstone Tuesday - John Thomas Ligon (1861-1951)

John Thomas Ligon, or J.T. as he was commonly referred to, was born 5 OCT 1861 in Hopkins County, Kentucky and died 2 JUN 1951 in Detroit.  He was married first on 26 JAN 1886 to Minisota (Minnie) Osburn.  She died in 1896.  He then married Georgie Lee Eudaley on 28 APR 1898 in Hopkins County, Kentucky.  

J.T. and Georgie were the parents of 7 children:

• Georgie Eudaley Ligon (1900-1989) marr Paul Braun, John Mahan
• James Dimmitt Ligon (1902-1980) marr Mary W. Morris
• Lilly Pearl Ligon (1904-1983) marr Wm F. O'Bryan
• Thomas David Ligon (1907-1977) marr Stella Martin
• Robert G. Ligon (1909-1980) marr Dorothy Shanklin
• Kenneth M. Ligon (1911-1961) Ellen E. Poyhonen
