Karen, this is one unusual tombstone. I enlarged it, just to see the detail; the carving is amazing, and I love the ferns. Any idea what he did for a living?
Barbara, Thanks for your comment. He's one of the unlinked individuals that I have. I have people of this surname and he's right in the midst of them, but can't figure out exactly how he fits. So I really don't know much about him. Was rather intrigued by his tombstone so we photographed it. Karen
