So Little Time... So Much To Do...

I've been working very diligently at staying on top of my "projects".   With all the data entry I bring back from my trips sometimes it gets difficult.  The ongoing marriage searches are progressing, although I suspect that there are quite a few marriages that occurred at some point in the 1600 & 1700's that I doubt I'll ever pinpoint the exact date on. 

Every day it seems another free data base appears on either FamilySearch or Ancestry that I really should look at.  Just this morning cousin & fellow blogger, Anne over at Gene Notes emails that Kentucky probate records are up on FamilySearch.  Mr. Brown Eyes is full of Kentucky ancestors.  I resist the urge to go there...

Toss in the flower gardens outside the window (that translates into I can SEE the weeds), the veggies that need picking, and the watching the two oldest grandsons and I find myself wondering if I'll ever get everything done on my list?

Oh well, there's always tomorrow!

Lost In Time - Baseball Anyone?

Perhaps a young men's baseball or softball team?  This is another photo from my grandparents album. 

Locations:  Could be Germantown, Montgomery County, Ohio or Miamisburg, Montgomery County, Ohio. Another possible location would be Springboro, Warren County, Ohio.

Time Frame: Possibly the 1925-1935 time frame

Anyone look familiar?  Were your ancestors involved in team sports in the Montgomery County, Ohio area?

Lost In Time - Unidentified Photo's -

All the photo's you see here are lost in time.  They are unidentified.  They came from an album belonging to either my grandfather, Raymond Phillips or his wife, Pauline Kreitzer Phillips.  Ray was raised in Springboro and then as a teenager later moved with his family to Miamisburg, Montgomery County.  Pauline was born and raised in Germantown, Montgomery County, Ohio.  Both were employed at one time at the Fridgidair plant near Dayton. 

If you can identify anyone in these photo's I'd love to hear from you.  So far I must admit the success rate of this project has not been high, with only one of the photo's I posted being identified.  Is it possible  that this is YOUR ANCESTOR?

More unidentified images from my grandparents album. Again, these folks are probably from the Germantown & Miamisburg area of Montgomery County, Ohio, probably 1930's & later.
