Jacob Barth, shown in records as Johan Jacob Barth, was born 7 NOV 1826 in Germany and died 5 FEB 1905 in Belden, Lorain County, Ohio.  He married 22 JUN 18562 in Lorain County, Ohio to Rosina Cathrina Merkle.  Rosina was born 28 DEC 1833 in Germany and died 19 Oct 1916 in Belden, Lorain County, Ohio.  They were the parents of 11 children -
Jacob B., Henry F., Friederich, John J., Maria, Martha, Catherine E., Wilhelm, George, Henry J. and Karl T.

Jacob & Rosina are buried in the Belden Cemetery, Grafton Township, Lorain County, Ohio.  There is a discrepancy in the death date for Jacob.  Civil records show Jacob's death date to be the 5th of Feb while church records show the death actually occurring on the 2nd of Feb?
